I'm a computer scientist, software engineer, engineering manager and problem solver from the Pacific Northwest
Currently, I am the CTO and co-founder of the Village, where we are creating a better social network that focuses on families and children.
Daily I get to plan projects, develop & mentor engineers, and implement technical solutions while promoting social good.
Previously, I worked for the world's largest emotional support network 7 Cups, where I led a team on a mission to connect people to find support and grow.
A Snapshot of my Background
I was born in Oregon, studied in Virginia, and wound up living on an island in Canada.
Along the way—not in any particular order—I have started businesses, had two children, worked for start-ups, small businesses and non-profits across the United States, obtained a BSCS (Hon), got married, and had a great deal of fulfilling experiences.
Currently I live between the forest and the sea in Qualicum Beach, BC. If I'm not developing software, you can find me running, hiking or at the beach with my family.
